MEET STEPHANIE

Founded in 2020 by Stephanie (“Stef”) Errickson in Milford, Connecticut, Cliff + Soph Design is a woman-owned couture handbag house devoted to refined craftsmanship, elevated materials, and meaningful purpose.

The house is named in honor of Stef’s beloved cats, Cliff and Sophie — the original muses behind the brand — alongside their brothers Frank and Harry, and her husband Dave, who complete her cherished family. In keeping with the brand’s ethos, a portion of every sale is donated to animal welfare charities, with recipients thoughtfully selected based on current needs and causes close to the company’s heart.

MADE BY HAND WITH LOVE

Steeped in a love of design and guided by a lifelong devotion to animals, Stef crafts and curates each collection in Connecticut using fine materials and premium interior designer fabrics — many from heritage textile houses and available only in limited runs. Some styles are personally made by Stef; others are sewn by her small team under her creative direction. The result is a considered assortment of collectible handbags, many with truly one-of-a-kind character.

Cliff + Soph Design is proudly cruelty-free. No animal by-products are used in the creation of our handbags — every leather-like finish is thoughtfully selected faux material chosen for both beauty and ethics. Because the only thing more beautiful than a Cliff + Soph handbag is the compassion that accompanies it.

BESPOKE ORDERS AVAILABLE

One of our specialities is working with customers to create custom handbags. Bespoke orders have a standard lead time of 3–4 weeks, honoring the brand’s commitment to intentional, small-batch production. For bespoke inquiries, clients are warmly invited to contact us to start the design process.
